September 1997

Welcome to the Inaugural issue of Pugpourri.

We are hoping that this will be a monthly publication to fill you in on some of what is going on in and around the Pug world. We are not politically motivated, so our coverage or lack of coverage will be influenced by what we feel is interesting or newsworthy. We solicit your comments and anything else you want to submit. Remember, we can be accessed world-wide, so let people know what you know and think. However, if you have an ax to grind about someone, don't bother us with it because we don't care.

With publication deadline in 3 days, we are short on information this month. We will be going to the PDCA National Specialty in Sturbridge, MA, so next month we should have pictures and information about all the fun we had there.

Here are a few pictures from the St. Croix Valley KC shows last weekend. Dr. Edward Patterson was scheduled to judge Pugs on Sat, but we were sad to hear that he had fallen and injured his hip. Ed, we hope you are on the mend and maybe you'll be feeling good enough to make it to Sturbridge.

"Is that Kevin Sorbo over there?"

"It never fails, I buy a new pair of shoes and then I step in something at a dog show."
